Coconut Water Popsicles

Coconut water is a refreshing drink that is widely known for its hydrating properties and other health benefits. It contains healthy amino and fatty acids, essential minerals, B-complex vitamins, potassium, Vitamin C, and enzymes which makes it a miracle drink with significant anti-aging, anti-carcinogenic, and anti-thrombotic (anti-clot formation) effects. It also helps digestion, metabolism, and suppresses the appetite due to its rich nature. Coconut water can also help to clear up and subsequently tone the skin with makes it a popular addictive in creams, shampoos, conditioners and lotions.

 

A great way to get your daily dose of coconut water and its health benefits is frozen fruit popsicles. Freezing coconut water with fruits like kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple makes a refreshing summer treat. And tastes delicious!

Ingredients
  • Strawberries, Kiwi, Blueberries and other fresh or frozen fruits
  • Coconut water
  • 1- 2 tbsp. honey or agave nectar or you sweetener of choice
Instructions
  1. Place your sliced fruits at the bottom of each popsicle mold. Add blueberries and place more sliced fruits on top. Mix coconut water with sweetener of choice (optional.) Fill each mold with the coconut water, insert popsicle sticks and freeze.
