Avocado and cacao taste amazing together!

Blend half of avocado with cacao and bananas, add milk and sweetener of choice and you get a delicious afternoon snack. Add a scoop of protein powder for extra boost!

You can make it vegan – with agave and almond milk – or switch to regular non-fat milk and add some honey. It’s your call! Here is the vegan recipe below.

Chocolate Avocado Power Smoothie
Cuisine: gluten-free, soy-free, vegan
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 2 teaspoons agave nectar
  • ½ cup ice
  1. Blend all the ingredients together in a hight speed blender until creamy smooth. Garnish with a few cocoa nibs on top (optional) and enjoy!
Add one scoop of protein powder to make it a great post workout snack!
