How about frozen watermelons.
This healthy snack is a great way to satisfy your ice cream cravings. Low in calories and hight in fiber and water this nutritious snack fills up you stomach making you eat less and burn more. These yummy pops are great for kids too. Each juicy bite has significant levels of vitamins A, B6 and C, lots of lycopene, antioxidants and amino acids. There’s even a modest amount of potassium. Plus, this quintessential summer snack is fat-free, very low in sodium and has only 40 calories per cup. And it’s very easy to make.
Here is how.
- Fresh Watermelon
- Cut watermelon into triangle pieces
- Using small knife cut a hole in the green part of each piece
- Insert wooden treat sticks through the whole into each piece of the watermelon
- Freeze for at least 6 hours and enjoy!
