5 Best Fat Burners

abs You already know that some foods are healthier for you than the others.  But did you know that certain foods burn more calories then they give you?

1. Celery

Celery is made up of nearly 75% of water.  Because of celery is so full of water it contains fewer calories than it takes for your body to digest the snack.

A cup of chopped raw celery has just 16 calories, which is roughly 1% of your daily limit. Boiled celery has slightly more calories, at 27 calories per cup.

2. Cucumbers

These refreshing vegetables contain mostly water as well. They are a good source of vitamin C, K, A and magnesium and manganese.

1 cup sliced cucumber contains approximately 16 calories.  That means you are burning off the calories they contain just by crunching down on them.

3. Leafy Green Vegetables

Leafy greens are: kale, spinach, broccoli, bok choy, cabbage, rapini, red and green leaf romain lettuce, collard greens, swiss chard, mustard greens, turnip greens, arugula, and watercress.

Green leafy vegetables are roughly 50% water and 50% fiber.  They are low in calories and high in Vitamins and Nutrients, which helps to fight hunger and maintain high energy throughout the day.

1 cup leafy greens contain about 20 calories on average.  For example, 1 cup spinach contains only 7 calories while 1 cup broccoli contains 31 calories.

4. Grapefruit

Grapefruit is another amazing food that has high water content and contains lots of fiber. Grapefruit also stimulates your metabolism, which helps to burn fat.

1 cup grapefruit contains about 97 calories.

5. Chili peppers

These spicy little peppers contain a compound called capsaicin that speeds up your metabolism and helps you burn calories quicker.  They are also high in Vitamin C, as well as Vitamin B6 and Vitamin A.

1 cup chili peppers contains 60 calories.  While very few are going to eat a cup of chili peppers, sprinkling some chili on your pizza, avocado toast, or ordering spicy curry may help you burn those pounds faster.  Just make sure to stick to a healthy diet for at least 80 present of your week.
