Today I want to share with you The 3 Best Ways To Lose Weight without dieting and exercising.
As a certified nutritionist and a mom of two and have experience of gaining and losing weight. I’ve gained and lost 40 pounds with each of my pregnancies.
My oldest kid is 3 years old, and my youngest is only a year and a half. And it didn’t get me that long to lose weight after having children. In fact, I’ve lost my baby weight in just a first few months after having a child.
So…How did I do it?
Well, I’m about to tell you how in just a minute.
But first, I want to say that lots of people have a false believe that in order to lose weight you need to spend hours at the gym every day, or you have to diet, or even starve yourself.
And to tell the truth, I used to feel the same way too.
After having a baby I wasn’t happy with the way I look. I had a saggy skin on my belly, my regular clothes didn’t fit me anymore and I looked like I was still pregnant. I could tell that my husband didn’t look at me the same way he used to and I really didn’t know what to do.
I felt very sad and frustrated. I had very little energy due to lack of sleep and the food was the only thing I would go for to get some energy or even to get that feeling of happiness.
I was struggling to figure out how to get my body back. And I thought I have to do something very extreme otherwise I will never lose weight.
I’ve tried dieting but every time I lose weight I’d gain it all back. I was also exhausted after sleepless nights with the new baby that exercise was the last thing on my mind.
I was even thinking about fat freeze or liposuction, or using some kind of “miracle” diet pill that can just melt once and for all.
But in real life it does’t work like that. But that doesn’t mean you need to diet or even exercise to lose weight.
In fact, once I figured out a way to lose way without dieting or exercising I found it pretty easy to do.
And it’s pretty much changed my whole life.
So here are The 3 Best Ways to Lose Weight Without Dieting or Exercising.
#1. Cut your portions in half
If you are like me and you don’t want to give up your favorite foods to lose weight, the good news is, you don’t have to.
You can still eat your favorite foods and lose weight, but all you have to do it cut your portions in half.
No matter if it’s breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner, or a snack, cut anything you eat in half.
Save the second half for the next meal, or for the next day. You can also share it with your friend or just through it away it this make you feel better. But remember to eat only a half of what you usually eat.
Now… I know what you are thinking… If I eat only a half of what I usually eat I might feel hungry.
Which brings me to the way of losing weight number 2.
#2. Drink Lots of water
Before each meal, especially before your “half-meal” drink a full glass of water.
What’s gonna happen is the water will fill up your stomach, it will take a lot of space in your stomach so that you won’t have any space left for the food.
So you even after eating your “half portion” will feel perfectly fine and you won;t feel hungry because the water will make you feel full like you’ve already eaten enough.
Another way of filling up your stomach and “tricking” your body into thinking it’s already full is to eat low-calorie and high water content foods, such as fruit. I n fact the third way to lose weight is to…
#3. Replace your sweets with fruits
Do it with as least a half of the sweets you eat or ideally replace all the sweets you eat with fruits.
Watermelon is great for this, because it contains lots of water. Honeydew melon, or any other melons are great too. Bananas are very filling; berries, apple, grapes – basically any fruit is good for this.
Now you’ve probably heard somewhere that fruits contain sugar and sugar is bad for you and therefore you shouldn’t eat fruits.
Well, there is two times of sugar.
The “bad” sugar is the one that can be found in sweets, cakes, ice-cream – anything tasty.
This type of sugar is “bad” because it spikes sugar in your blood. Blood sugar spikes are bad because over the years they lead to diabetes.
Fruits contains a different kind of sugar that doesn’t cause a blood sugar spike.
Plus fruits have lots of nutrients, vitamins, fiber, and anti-oxidants. Anti-oxidants can even help to prevent cancer.
But sweets and candies have exactly zero vitamins, no fiber or anti-oxidants. That’s why they call them “empty calories.” Sweets contain only empty calories. Too many empty calories makes you fat. That’s another reason why sweets are bad for you.
So try to replace at least a half of the sweets you eat with fresh fruits. I actually know someone who has lost 10 lbs in 1 month just by replacing all the sweets with fruits so this is something that’s going to help you tremendously.
